Five nights of complete comfort: service, cuisine, and cleanliness top-notch, the beds exceptional. A down-to-earth hotel that completely won us over – we will gladly return!
Very friendly reception, nice and very clean rooms with top-notch mattresses. The guest card provides unlimited access to the thermal baths and sauna, the food was excellent – and the dog was also welcome with a bowl and blanket.
Very good 3-star hotel with a great overall package: large, very clean room, friendly staff, and a choice of three main courses in the evening. A big plus is the unlimited access to the Alpine Thermal Spa.
Very nice stay: breakfast and dinner really delicious, the staff very nice. The fact that the Alpine spa and mountain railway are included is ideal – we'd love to come back.
The food was worth more than 3 stars – simply top! The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Here for the repeated time and thrilled once again; the included Alpine thermal spa is the icing on the cake.

How do I get to the hotel – and where do I park?
You can find us:
Hotel DasGastein, Alexander-Moser-Allee 21, 5630 Bad Hofgastein.
You can park directly behind the house. After check-in, the underground car park directly in the building is available to you for €6.90 per day. Alternatively, there is a free public parking lot in the immediate vicinity.
When can I check in and out?
Your room is available from 3:00 PM. Check-out is possible until 11:00 AM. We are happy to store your luggage. Our reception is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
How far is it to the Alpentherme?
About an hour to 10 minutes on foot on a flat path. Admission is included – a beach bag with towels is ready in the room, and bathrobes are available at the reception.
Food and drink
Our gourmet breakfast buffet is available to you between 07:00 and 10:00 AM with open seating. You can enjoy our evening buffet between 06:00 and 08:30 PM – we will gladly show you to your seat. Drinks are not included.
Is there a sauna and spa in the house?
Yes – two saunas and a steam bath as well as our relaxation room invite you to unwind. For the ultimate thermal spa experience, the Alpentherme is only a few minutes away.
Is my dog welcome on vacation?
Certainly – please indicate this when booking. The fee is €20 per day. Your four-legged friend is welcome in the winter garden; please note that the restaurant and wellness areas are excluded.
Can I give a gift certificate?
Yes! You can easily order gift vouchers online via the „Vouchers" menu item.
What cancellation policies apply?
Exclusively with direct bookings, you receive the flexibility to cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. Please notify us of any changes and cancellations in writing.
